GBMINI arrives at MINI Peabody

My sales councilor, Joel Mesiti very kindly took photos as the car was delivered!

Here is the car at the front of the delivery truck:

After unloading the other cars, my MINI is moved to the back of the truck and lowered:

Joel called me at about 11:30am and I immediately(!) left work and drove to the dealer. When I got there, I found my MINI (identified by its VIN) outside:


I spoke to the technicians, who quickly brought my MINI in to their service area and removed the front & rear bumpers and wheel arches (these were to be sent to Sublime Restoration so that the black textured plastic parts could be sanded down and painted body color):


Then they started work on the inside, on some of the modifications I wanted done:


It would be almost two more weeks before the paintwork was finished, the car was rebuilt, and I could pick it up!

GBMINI finally ready for delivery

The body color painted trim looked fantastic:


Finally I could drive my new MINI home:
